Organic Ganoderma Lucidum (Reishi) Spore Powder – Ganoderma Spores are the seeds of the Ganoderma lucidum. The shell of the G.L. spore is as hard as the shell of a coconut, and requires special care to crack open and capture the spores at the right time. There is also a second inner layer and not all companies 'double crack' the shells to release the most important part of the spore. 

The fruit body of the fungi matures after 5-7 months to release numerous ganoderma spores through minuscule pores present at its base. There are different components of the Ganoderma lucidum mushroom – the spores (seeds ready to pollinate), the Mycelium (early harvest) and the lucidum or the cap part of the mushroom (the mature plant).
