Goodness from leaf to lips
Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you already know green tea does wonders for your health. Organic matcha green tea is green tea, but ten times better. You can thank Japan for this one; they've been using it as a nutrition booster for hundreds of years. We source our matcha directly from Japan's Uji province, famed for producing the highest quality green tea leaves, because higher quality leaves means higher quality goodness in your mug. And all you have to do to feel the effects is take a sip.
What is matcha green tea?
The best cup of tea you'll ever have. 100% natural and organic matcha leaves (pesticides don't come anywhere near them) are milled into a smooth ceremonial-grade powder. (Ceremonial means premium.) Unlike many other green teas, we use the whole leaf, for maximum goodness. Matcha is believed to have ten times the strength of regular green tea.
When mixed with water, the powder creates the most vibrant green colour. It looks good, it tastes good, and it feels good.
Matcha has been used for hundreds of years in Japan to boost energy levels, strengthen the immune system and promote a sense of calmness and well-being.
What's in organic matcha green tea?
This green magic is said to be gorged with antioxidants, fiber, and copious amounts of vitamins and minerals. It's also been discovered to be rich in the amino acid L-Theanine, which has been reported to boost learning ability and concentration.
Give matcha a try and see how it compares to regular green tea. We reckon you'll never go back…
What should I do with it?
Just add a quarter to half a teaspoon of matcha green tea powder to a bowl or cup and pour hot - not boiling! - water over it. Whisk it up to make a frothy drink that tastes as good as it looks. (So you know, it looks incredible.) It only takes a few seconds and your body will thank you for it long after the drink is gone.
Organic, Eco-Friendly Packaging
Our matcha green tea powder is packaged in miron glass, one of the highest quality and protective containers you can get. (Plus, it looks miles better than metal!) It's also reusable and 100% recyclable, so you can do your bit for the environment too.
